pain piece and jet lag

I've got another piece published in The Tyee today in a series on addiction. it's about painkillers in development that don't have the same problem with addiction that current opiate based ones have...

(yes i did finally find an MD to talk to me...)

and local radio has expressed interest interviewing me about it...

jetlag from a 4.5 hour time shift is killing me right now...
i went to St. John's Newfoundland this weekend for a science writers conference. i'll have more on that later.

i do believe that i like St John's...

i think i will be going back there someday.
