warty towels

last weekend in my garage sailing expedition i picked up some VHS tapes...

one was a Fawlty Towers tape.

i can’t get through a whole episode anymore...it’s not that it’s bad, it’s brilliant.

Basil is such a complete idiot that watching the episode actually makes me squirm...i have to stop the tape at times.

i was just watching the one with the fire drill and the Germans...Basil got a concussion during a fire that popped up right after the fire drill and then he checked himself out of the hospital and shows up back at the hotel.

...

i stopped it a right before total mayhem cause i knew what was coming...

i’ll go back and watch the rest after i take a break...
