depthcharge debrief

well i guess it went ok...

except that the sound guy needed me to call him up at 8:45 before he remembered that he was doing sound for the night and suppose to be there for an 8:30 soundcheck...and then the sound was shitty.

on stage i could barely hear myself.
off stage people told me that the guitar was too loud, and my vocals too soft...so not happy with the sound.

i'm starting to think that bringing in our own sound person when we can would be good.

the other bands did good sets, although i'm wishing that they had pulled a few more people...
not including an entourage from the 4 bands, which totalled around 20 people, we got around 80 people in the door...and once again i think it's fair to say most had come to see Hefe.

but i thought Hefe could have pulled better too, a lot of people i had talked to said they were going to show didn't...so...

i feel bad for all the bands though, cause we didn't pull much in for them after expenses...
basically the bands got paid less than the soundguy, which is not how it should ever go.

but besides all that i had a really fun time, and i think everyone else did to...or maybe it just seemed that way because of the Jager...

oh
and i can't post pictures for awhile until the server move is completed
